Top Trends of 2011

1. Lace- found in any color imaginable and in any style from a classic dress worn by the princess to a fantastic party shirt, it had a feminine flair
2. Jeans in bright colors, seen all over definitely brightened things up and made it interesting
3. Dying ends or sections of hair, this seem to die (haha) down but I did think it was cool and a way to express yourself without taking the plunge of the whole head.
4. Faux fur--- could be found on everything from a shirt, cuff of a boot, necklace, shirts and my favorite scarves ( I found my favorite at 27latitude.com) . I am taking that to 2012 as well
5. Leather bags- Love the western feel with vintage flair, so many styles to choose from

New Shoes!
It was the first day in Sydney and I have already purchased the number one item on my wish-list... color-block heels. They're bright blue and the most comfortable heels I own. They're such a statement piece that I didn't even have to think about the outfit I wore with them - gold skirt, black top.
Check out Glamour Puss online for some more cute shoes.

LITTLE AUSSIE NIPPERS
These little Aussie nippers from Clovelly asked me to join them for their Sunday morning lifeguard training!! (note the hat next to me), love a tourist. REX.
LULU HELPS OUT JASONS DREAMS FOR KIDS
Man, it's nippy out.
Don we now our peacoats and scarves, it's Christmas time in the City.
That right, folks. It's the most wonderful time of the year, when streets and avenues become mighty, remorseless, cruel walls of bitter Siberian hate-wind. It's nostalgic. It's pointy nipples. It's romantic. It's frozen snot. It's lovely.
One may waltz over to Rockefeller Center to be witness to that exhilarating tradition of watching top-heavy tourists fall with an ever-satisfying thud on the ice. One may declare snowball fights in Central Park. One may enjoy the intricate window displays of Herald Square. One may complain about how the cold is causing a serious case of pointy nipples.

It's that time when certain holiday tunes dance through one's mind, "Ring-a-ling (ring-a-ling), Hear them sing (hear them sing), Damnit I've gotta get inside my nipples are so pointy it's so cold."
It's that infectious time of the year when you know that Santa's on his way, he's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh... and hopefully something to make my nipples less pointy because its so unbelievably, excruciatingly, grief-inducingly cold.
Until next time, I bid you a Christmassy, pointy nippley farewell.
